My name is Husni. I'm the Habesha Barista — an Ethiopian coffee culture and lifestyle creator based in Dallas, Texas.

I grew up with coffee the way most Ethiopians do: not as a caffeine fix, but as a ritual. The smell of green beans roasting, the slow pour of the Jebena, the three rounds served with ceremony and conversation. Coffee in Ethiopian culture isn't a product — it's a language.

That upbringing is what drives everything I create. I make content because I believe Ethiopian coffee deserves to be understood, not just consumed. The specialty coffee world has fallen in love with Ethiopian beans — Yirgacheffe, Sidama, Guji — without always knowing the culture behind them. I'm here to tell that story.

What I Do

I create short-form video content across TikTok and Instagram covering Ethiopian coffee culture, specialty coffee education, brewing techniques, and lifestyle. Every piece of content I make is rooted in authenticity — I'm not performing a character, I'm sharing what I actually know and love.
